National Map of Credit Scores

Experian is one of the three major credit bureaus tracking how you pay your bills, and whose score can make or break credit decisions in your favor.

For the second year in a row they have published their State of Credit Map showing ten cities in the U.S. with the highest and lowest credit scores. All-in-all it provides data on over a hundred metro areas in a very cool interactive interface.

SPOILER ALERT!

Apparently the folks in the midwest are the most honorable, frugal and diligent since Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa lead the pack of cities with the highest scores. On the other hand, if you’re considering making loans to folks in Texas you should think twice as they have more than their fair share of deadbeats.
